Zi Jun: Dear daddy mummy, The weather today was cold.. Yesterday,I went to the bei lin museum. The purpose to be there it to see the craved words on the stone tablets, AND experience 'printing' papers in theolden times. Fortunatly, get to keep the 'printed' paper after playing sciccors paper stone with my friend. :) This morning, I had science and english lessons with them... Before that, I made the paper cutting... I was frozen stiff...We went to the Beilin Stone Museum and saw many different types of words carved onto the stones. We also had a tour guide with us!!!She was ver patient and explained to us all the things that we did not know.Today, we were in school and wthe lessons were fun. You know what? I even exchange gifts with my Xi'an buddy!I learnt that we must be very attentive in class> Bye, will not say more!

Today we went to school again and the students wear their own clothing. I have already given some of the students the persents and asked them for their contact.Tomorrow we are going for sight seeing. Many of the students gave me things. Butmost of the things are not anything related to Xi'an. Brr... It is cold here. I've already layer myself but my legs and my hands are cold still. Teacher says that we will be going to the buddy's house the next week.Is the black hat at home? It is not here with me. Do you have any ways for me to keep my legs warm? Got to go!

Honey, regarding cold hands, try putting them inside pockets (when standing/walking), slipping them under your sweater (when seated) or cross your arms and place hands under your armpits where all that layers of clothes will keep them warmer. Legs - are you able to wear 2 layers of leggings under the pants? Remember to apply moisturizer. A layer of cream helps trap some heat too.

Well, today, we went to the (Da Yan Ta). It was very fun over there. Our tour guide, told us the story.We were very fascinated by the story she told us. After that, we went to the northen side of the (Da Yan Ta). It was quite big over there! Following that, we went to eat lunch at the hotel. After eating, we went to the(shaanxi Li Shi Bo Wu Guan).Then, we went to the (Qu Jiang Yi Zhi Gong Yuan). We watched a river side movie and it was very well programmed.Everything went smoothly.After that, we went to a playground inside the garden. We played for a while before going back to the hotel.

Zi jun: 星期六，我们到大雁塔去参观，陕西历史博馆和大唐芙蓉园参观。到了大雁塔，小叶姐姐告诉了我们唐僧的故事。他在10岁时就到印度取经书。过了17年，他才回到了长安。回到了长安，他就把经书放在大雁塔里。那这大雁塔就保存了1000多年了。 下午，我们到了历史博物馆去。我了解了中国有唐朝，汉朝，周朝，还有秦朝。 晚上，我们到大唐芙蓉园去玩。那里的风景很美。过后，我们看烟花，美丽极了！

After the singing and raising of the flag, there was a prize giving ceremony.After that, a boy from Punggol and I went up to say our speeches to the shcool. There was a performance by the boy from Punggol. Following that, we went to write calligraphy. The teachers taught us how to write them but i just can't seem to get it though.In the end, we made a mess on the paper:)
ZiJun: Today, we had to wake up early as we are attending the flag raising ceremony. I got to know the china's national anthem too. After the flag raising, we went to the science lab to have the chinese calligraphy lesson. It was fun. The teacher thought us how to draw cherries and write our names. After that, we went back to our class to have lessons. But ending up having PE. The teacher was very strict with them. He pulled out those who are nauthy violently, so scary...

Zi Jun: 昨天，我们到了附近的公园去玩跳绳和踢毽子。我们要走大约10分钟才到了那儿。这时，我又认识了一格新朋友。她也是五年级的同学。我跟萱芝（chloe)跳绳。过后，我们学了怎么踢毽子。一开始，我们谁也不会，但辛好友我们的中国同学帮帮我们。她还给我们俩一个毽子。到了最后，我们开始跳大绳。 今天早上，我们吃过了早餐后，我订了个印。花35元就可以买个印。之后，我们花乐大约二十分钟才到了学校。我们上了美术课，华文课还有科学课。

今天，我们到兵马俑去。那边真大呀!我们走的很累，花了三个小时才走完！我觉得兵马俑那儿实在太大了，如果走失了，要花老半天才能找到呢！接着，我们到兵马俑附近的餐馆吃午餐。然后，我们到超市场买东西。但是，我连一个东西也没买就离开了。我们后来回到酒店休息，接着才去酒店的餐厅去用餐。

ReplyDelete星期6, 我们到了大雁塔，陕西历史博物馆和大唐芙蓉圆。早上我们到了大雁塔。那里是堂僧把从印度取回来的经书放进大雁塔里。唐僧用了十七年把经书带回西安。然后，我们去了陕西历史博物馆。那里有三个主要的部分。那里有很多历史的物品，那里还有真金呢！吃了晚饭后，我们去大唐芙蓉圆。那里很美，因为那里有古老的房子。八点时，我们看湖里有表演。表演快要结束时，还有烟花。然后，那里也有游乐场，我们玩到满头大汗。
昨天我们到了兵马俑和平价超市。早上吃完早餐，我们出发到兵马俑。当我们进去时我们都收到一张卡。我们不需不见那张卡，不然我们要在外等整三个钟头！兵马俑政体分成三个部分。第一个最大，也有最多的士兵。到了第三个，
地方越来越小，士兵也越来越少。然后，吃完午餐后，我们到了平价超市去购物。那里de纪念品好贵哦！比西师附小外面的纪念品还要贵。我在那儿买了一盒吃的。

在星期日，我们到了秦始王兵马俑博物馆参观。人们把兵马俑保存了2000多年。我看到一个蹲着的兵俑的侧面形状很像中国陕西省的地图。看了兵马俑，让我感到古代的人很聪明，觉得很优秀。
之后，我们到平价超市去买东西。可笑的是，我一点东西都没买到。

ReplyDelete昨天，我们到了城墙后面的公园跳绳子和踢毽子。我们走了大概10分钟才到了公园。我和子君跟一个中国朋友一起跳绳和踢毽子。然后，改成跳大绳。我被绳子打了几下呢！
今天，我们上楼到一个课室里。西安同学们给我们弹了几首歌。然后，我们上了美术和科学课。

ReplyDeleteI forgot to tell u that I ordered two stamps.The stamps have printed names(chinese) on it one is my name the other is Pei Lin's name.Each cost 35RMB.I bought it because on the day that we go shopping,the shops there may not sell the stamps.Teacher says that on the top of the stamps there will be a Terra Cotta Soldier.

Tomorrow, you'll be having the farewell with the Xi'an friends. I'm sure you'll miss them when you come back.
